My top 10 Fantasy Films

I am Connie Elstun a Comedy Magician and Entertaining Educator from Denver Colorado and I love Movies.  So much that in this month of the Academy Award presentations that I always contribute my Movie lists to me friends on Facebook and thought why not do it here too on My Blog Page.
Fantasy is the largest genre for a motion picture category.  I personally think Animated films have their own category so I have opted out to list the Classic Disney films of Fantasia 1940, Sleeping Beauty 1959 and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937 in my Fantasy list although they could have been easily listed.  And I will admit it, I have not seen Orpheus 1950, Destiny 1921, Blancanieves 2013 or Pans Labyrinth 2006 yet but definitely have them all on my must see list.

1. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy 2001-2003
2. The Wizard of Oz 1939
3. The Princess Bride 1987
4. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory 1971
5. Edward Scissorhands 1990
6. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 2004
7. Jason and the Argonauts 1963
8. The Matrix 1999
9. Ladyhawke 1985
10. Jumanji 1995

My guilty pleasure Honorable Mention tie : Time Bandits 1981 and Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1975
