Harper Lee is gone but never forgotten

Hero.

RIP Harper Lee. Thanks for your brilliance and showing your naked soul in your work. All my life I have known Atticus. Scout, Jem and Boo as my friends from the pages of your work. You helped change things, just a bit, in a misguided world.
Nelle Harper Lee was an American novelist widely known for To Kill a Mockingbird, published in 1960. Immediately successful, it won the 1961 Pulitzer Prize and has become a classic of modern American literature.
Born: April 28, 1926, Monroeville, AL

Died: February 19, 2016, Monroeville, AL
