About Me and my Company
In 1984 I named my Colorado female-run small business Connie and Co. as it was as important to me to include my tiny sidekicks as co-owners of an entertainment business that caters to children and their relationship to everything around them. Especially the other animals on our planet. My company is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. I offer fun and educational programs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals. I am the only one in my field to offer a 13-month book back guarantee for the same price and the same quality year after year.
I like to introduce myself as a crazy Colorado kid. I was born, adopted and raised in the mile-high city of Denver. My name is Connie Elstun and 2020 finds me to be a semi-retired Performing Art's Teacher, spending the past 32 years teaching Creative Dramatics, Stagecraft, Creative Writing, and Film Studies to students K-12.
I have also spent over 30 years as a working Professional Magician for Children serving 4 Rocky Mountain States, specializing in School Assembly programs. I am also a Public Speaker, a published author and a Member of my alma-mater Metropolitan State University of Denver's Metro Meritus Program.
I am a named Wizard and member of high standings at the International Brotherhood of Magicians worldwide organization. I also have served on the Mile High Magicians Society Board for 10 years, which included being nominated Madam President in 2011.
I put myself through college working as a Print Model for the prestigious J.F. Images Talent agency. I have appeared in several local theatre productions along with several local television commercials, including being the Coors Brewery Silver Bullet girl in 1980. I dated Actor Clint Eastwood once and played a female hostage in the kiddie film "Three Ninjas on Mega Mountain" along with my friend, comedian Jim Varney, in 1988.
I am an eclectic individual. I spend my off-hours in my and my husband Dave's home Theatre watching films, new and old alike. I love all genres of film, including silent films. I also keep journals on the history of filmmaking. I am happily married to my best friend, Magician the Amazing Dave. We live in the beautiful suburbs of Denver in a house that magic built with our menagerie including our constant companion Dog, Cat, Horse, rabbit, and Chicken.
I find time to volunteer as a historical writer and gravesite photographer for a local historical group. While my hobbies include reading, power hiking, horsemanship, mountain adventures, and target shooting.
I am a life-long Vegetarian.
