Helpful hints from a Full Blood Witch

Helpful hints from a full blood witch.

Thank you for visiting the blog of Denver Colorado Magic Magician Connie Elstun aka Professor Elstun Ravenclaw  and her Harry Potter themed Magic Show.  Hogwarts Magic is perfect for older children who are Harry fans. Full Blood Witch Elstun Ravenclaw is an alumni of the house of Ravenclaw 7th cousin of Minerva McGonagall twice removed and a direct descendant of Slytherin's most famous alumni Merlin. Written in my Pottermore diary 9-21-16  I was first born the 8th of March 1559. I am a full blood Witch. My patronus is a hare just like Luna Lovegood.  My pet is a barn owl.

My new wand is a beauty!

Acacia wood
Dragon heartstring core
12 ½" in length
Quite Bendy flexibility

Acacia is a very unusual wand wood, which I have found creates tricky wands that often refuse to produce magic for any but their owner, and also withhold their best effects from all but those most gifted. This sensitivity renders them difficult to place, and the shop keeper only kept a small stock for those witches or wizards of sufficient subtlety, for acacia is not suited to what is commonly known as 'bangs-and-smells' magic. When well-matched, an acacia wand matches any for power, though it is often underrated due to the peculiarity of its temperament.
